1. Agreement
This Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement” or “Terms”) is made between Social Media Examiner, a California corporation (“SME,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and you (“you,” “your,” or “User”). This Agreement governs your use of NoteGo, an AI-powered video feedback platform owned and operated by Social Media Examiner, including the NoteGo website, Chrome extension, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”).
BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY PART OF THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.
2. Service Description
NoteGo provides an AI-powered video feedback platform that allows users to:
- Record screen videos with markup annotations
- Generate AI-powered summaries, titles, and organization tools
- Share videos with designated recipients
- Store and manage video content
3. Software License
3.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Social Media Examiner grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use the NoteGo Chrome extension on your devices
- Access and use the NoteGo web platform
- Create, store, and share video content through the Service
3.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices on the software
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful activities.
5. User Content and AI Processing
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all video content, recordings, and materials you create using the Service (“Your Content”) for as long as you maintain an active subscription. By using the Service, you grant Social Media Examiner a limited license to:
- Process Your Content through our AI systems
- Store and deliver Your Content as part of the Service
- Generate summaries, titles, and organizational tools from Your Content
5.2 AI Processing
You understand and consent that:
- Our AI automatically analyzes your video content
- AI processing creates summaries, titles, chapters, and tags
- AI-generated content is derived from Your Content and subject to the same ownership rights
- You can delete both original and AI-generated content at any time
5.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and warrant that:
- You own or have necessary rights to all content you upload
- Your Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- Your Content does not contain malicious code or harmful materials
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without permission
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Interfere with the Service’s operation or security
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or content
7. Service Availability
7.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Technical issues
- Third-party service disruptions
7.2 Updates
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect core functionality.

- The NoteGo Service software and platform
- Our trademarks, logos, and branding
- AI algorithms and processing technology
- Documentation and help materials

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use such feedback without obligation to you.
10. Payment Terms
10.1 Subscription Plans
Paid features require a valid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees
- Provide accurate billing information
- Automatic renewal unless canceled
10.2 Refunds
Refund policies are detailed on our website and may vary by subscription type.
11. Disclaimers
11.1 Service Provided “As Is”
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11.2 AI Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated summaries, titles, and tags may not be perfect. You should review AI-generated content before relying on it for important purposes.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIAL MEDIA EXAMINER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
- DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Social Media Examiner harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your Content or violations of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
14. Data Retention and Deletion
14.1 Active Accounts
Your content is retained according to your subscription plan:
- Free plan: 30 days
- Paid plans: Duration of active subscription
14.2 Account Termination
Upon account termination:
- You have 90 days to export your content
- Content is permanently deleted after the grace period
- Backups are purged within 180 days
15. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services (cloud storage, AI processors, etc.). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
16. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Email notification
- In-app notification
- Website posting
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
17. Termination
17.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

We may terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in harmful or illegal activities
- Fail to pay applicable fees

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
